About the Role:

The Content Editor will play a critical role in reviewing and refining content for client projects, ensuring it meets the highest quality, accuracy, and editorial standards. This position requires strong experience in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) sector, the ability to communicate complex topics clearly, and a keen eye for detail. You’ll work closely with writers, providing feedback, ensuring client alignment, and maintaining brand consistency across all content formats.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Edit blogs, website copy, video scripts, and rich media assets for grammar, structure, flow, and clarity while retaining original intent.
  • Verify all statistics, data, and claims using credible sources; resolve inaccuracies in collaboration with writers.
  • Ensure content matches client style guides, industry requirements, and expectations—particularly within BFSI.
  • Offer constructive feedback, mentor junior writers, and support skill development within the content team.
  • Maintain high editorial standards, align content with SEO best practices, and ensure deliverables are polished before publication.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years’ experience editing content, preferably in BFSI.
  • Proven editorial skills across multiple content formats.
  • Strong grammar, spelling, and fact-checking ability.
  • Knowledge of SEO in content creation and editing.
  • Adaptability to different client voices and brand styles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong communication skills for giving clear, actionable feedback.
  • Familiarity with CMS and project management tools is a plus.
